At North Shore Smile Dentistry we are experienced, and energetic with a goal of building a positive team environment while providing optimal patient care. We have a modern office located in North Vancouver, that offers many amenities nearby including accessible transit options    We are currently seeking a Certified Dental Assistant with surgical experience to join our team full time    In this role, you will seat patients, work alongside dentists for general, restorative and cosmetic appointments, as well as complete sterilization and charting related tasks. We use Power Practice and Patterson Imaging. Our brand new facility offers digital xrays, pan, and numerous intraoral cameras.    See our new office by virtual tour at
 Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

  The wage range is from $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate's work experience and will be discussed during the interview process. 
 Responsibilities:
  • Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation
  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
  • Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient
  • Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements

 About You:
  • Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
  • Previous dental assisting and surgical experience preferred.
  • Experience with Power Practice is an asset.
