General Labourer

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures
• Verify accuracy of machine setting to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions
• Must be able to work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements
• Set-up tooling according to embedded offline programs and origin machines
• Inspect form lengths and angles utilizing height gauges, various measuring equipment
• Responsible for operation, operating controls, setting all machine functions, deburring and inspection of parts to assure conformance will be required
• Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts properly to eliminate double handling and work efficiently
• Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine within capabilities. Reports all machine malfunctions verbally and in writing
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to company safety policies and procedures and regulations
• Achieve production schedule targets as planned
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations

Schedule:

• Afternoon – Mon. – Thurs - 10 hour shift
• Overtime is optional when available
