Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, demonstrating the ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs on various types of vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Duties

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems. (Light, medium, and heavy duty)
  • Replace worn or damaged parts, including belts, hoses, and filters.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all repair activities.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license may be required depending on the nature of the work.
  • Certification from a recognized automotive or mechanical program is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $28.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
