We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center, supporting our overall logistics operations. You will be performing a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, moving raw materials to and from production areas, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety are paramount. Our warehouse environment requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. This position involves significant manual dexterity and physical stamina, including frequent standing, walking, and bending. Some tasks may require heavy Lifting, up to 50 pounds. The Forklift Operator will also be responsible for performing routine checks on the forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Collaboration with warehouse supervisors and other team members is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and achieving daily targets.
