We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support daily manufacturing operations by ensuring products and processes meet documented quality standards. This role is primarily plant-based and requires strong independent work, problem-solving, and clear communication. Openings on First shift and Second Shift available! Key Responsibilities
Inspect manufactured products to company quality standards Perform daily checks on equipment and processes Respond quickly to quality issues on the manufacturing floor Investigate nonconforming material, identify root causes, and document corrective actions Communicate findings to production teams and vendors Train manufacturing personnel on quality requirements Collaborate on process controls and error-proofing solutions Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED 25 years of Quality or Manufacturing experience (non-food, non-electronics) Ability to inspect parts and interpret specifications and tolerances Experience using measuring tools (tape measure required; calipers preferred) Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills Comfortable working independently in a manufacturing environment (80%+ of time) Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Able to work overtime as needed (typically weekdays) Preferred
Knowledge of window quality specifications Knowledge of home construction Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement required.
