Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role located in Craigavon. As a Design Engineer specialising in truck and trailer products, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and improving chassis components and systems for forestry equipment. Daily tasks will include creating detailed 3D CAD designs, performing mechanical engineering analyses, collaborating with design, fabrication and supplier teams, and innovating new product developments to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design
Strong knowledge and experience in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering
Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and tools
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and solve engineering challenges
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience in commercial vehicle or agricultural equipment design is a plus
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions
