Job Summary 

The Service Branch Manager is a business leadereship role. You will have accountability for the performance, safety, and growth of Levitt-Safety's Sudbury Service Branch. You'll lead a service team delivering critical fire and life safety services across Northern Ontario, while balancing people leadership, operational excellence, and financial performance.

You'll be trusted to run the branch like your own business - developing your team, strengthening customer partnerships, and ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.

Your Impact

You will be accountable for the overall performance of the Sudbury Branch, including:

  • Fire Systems & Alarms
  • VFSS
  • Fire & Life Safety Emergency Equipment
  • Respiratory, Instrumentation, Fall Arrest
  • Training & Compliance and Rentals
  • Lead, coach, and develop technicians, supervisors, and service administration staff
  • Set clear expectations, performance benchmarks, and accountability measures
  • Foster a collaborative, safety-first culture where teams share leads and opportunities
  • Ensure teams have the training, tools, and resources needed to succeed
  • Ensure the branch is properly staffed and equipped to deliver inspections, maintenance, and installations
  • Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, utilization, and service delivery
  • Manage labour productivity, service costs, and revenue streams
  • Oversee labour, training partners, parts sales, and project support
  • Act as a senior technical and service resource for key customers
  • Partner with Sales to identify opportunities and support service growth
  • Support quoting, contracts, tenders, and project execution
  • Review system designs to reduce customer risk and cost
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, QA, and regulatory standards
  • Promote an accident-free workplace and implement site-specific safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate records to meet contractual and customer requirements
  • Oversee scheduling, work orders, reporting, invoicing, tools, inventory, vehicles, and facilities
  • Support regional and national service initiatives and cross-functional programs
What you bring
  • 5+ years of experience in the fire & life safety service industry (service leadership experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience leading or supervising a technical service team
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent customer relationship, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Sound judgment and the ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments
  • A calm, professional approach when working under pressure
