Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant, based in Richmond Hill, ON. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing compilation engagements, review engagements, audits, preparing financial reports, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and managing tax filings. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, assisting in financial planning, and collaborating with clients to address their specific needs. The role also involves maintaining compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Auditing, Financial Reporting, and Tax Preparation processes
• Proficiency with Bookkeeping, Account Reconciliation, and Budget Planning
• Familiarity with Accounting Standards and Regulatory Compliance
• Strong Analytical, Organizational, and Problem-Solving skills
• Excellent Communication and Team Collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation or working towards CPA designation
• Experience with accounting software and financial management tools
