Hedge Fund Technology Search | Mondrian Alpha My client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join their team in New York. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing modern Azure-based data solutions, building scalable data pipelines and governance frameworks that support enterprise-wide analytics and reporting. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Azure-based data solutions. Build scalable data pipelines and governance frameworks to support analytics and reporting across the enterprise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data models, cataloging, lineage, and compliance frameworks. Contribute to high-impact data projects and uphold data quality and security standards. Qualifications
Strong experience with Azure Data Services (Microsoft Fabric, Purview, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Azure SQL). Proficiency with Databricks for big data processing and analytics. Strong SQL skills and programming experience (Python, PySpark). Solid understanding of data modeling and governance, including cataloging, lineage, and compliance frameworks. Exposure to Power BI integration, Azure DevOps for Data (CI/CD, Git, deployment automation), and AI/ML tools such as OpenAI is highly advantageous. Compensation
