POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient daily administration of invoicing, cash posting, filing, contract compliance and other issues related to accounts receivables for the New Flyer and MCI businesses.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Run auto invoicing
- Prepare manual invoices
- Post customer payments for both Private and Public sales
- Maintain contract spreadsheets (buses open) daily with information on price, payment terms, discounts, contract spares, etc.
- Assist with preparing Manufacturer's Certificates of Origin and Certificates of Sale
- Assist in reconciling customer accounts
- Assist the Financial Collection Analyst and customers with accounts receivable and collection information
- Assist Treasury team with required accounts receivable information and reconciliations
- Backup on various Accounts Receivable reports & month-end account reconciliations
- Maintain daily issue logs & review SRCR log for any items billed outside the bus price
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Accounting/finance related degree or diploma
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience
- Detail oriented and analytical skills
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer skills and calculating abilities
- Working knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft, Outlook
- Good communication and teamwork skills
