We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable Level II Certified Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced dental practice. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality clinical support.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Level II Dental Assistant certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Paradigm dental software is an asset
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, professional, and dedicated to excellent patient care
  • Training will be provided

Days and hours required:

  • Mondays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Fridays: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all instruments, materials, and equipment are clean and ready for procedures
  • Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, restorative procedures, surgeries, and other clinical treatments
  • Take, process, and mount dental radiographs (if certified)
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols
  • Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and vital signs as directed by the dentist
  • Provide suctioning, instrument passing, material mixing, and other direct clinical support
  • Prepare dental materials such as impression materials, cements, and bonding agents
  • Take impressions or digital scans (if permitted by provincial regulations)
  • Manage inventory and restock clinical supplies
  • Assist with lab tasks such as pouring models, trimming, and sending lab cases
  • Ensure operatories and sterilization areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Support emergency procedures when necessary
  • Maintain professionalism, patient comfort, and confidentiality at all times

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
