As we continue to expand throughout Canada , we are seeking Fibre Optic Drops Installers for steady and reliable work in Victoria and Langford

This is an owner operator contractor position where you will supply your own vehicle and tools. You would require a vehicle suitable to support a commercial grade ladder rack, a 28' to 32' foot fiberglass extension ladder, a 14' to 18' fiberglass extension ladder, and basic hand tools. If you don't already own this equipment or are unable to acquire this equipment, we are open to assist with with outfitting the right individual.

About the Role:
You will be responsible to install fiber to customers home from the Telus outside plant network. This will involve either running the fiber drop from the telephone pole on the street aerially to the premise, or from a service vault on the street though existing conduit to the premise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely work at heights up to 32' off an extension ladder.
• Safely work around traffic and other potential hazards.
• Install Telus Fiber drops in accordance to Telus standards.
• Insure care and attention when preforming work on a customers property or residence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience installing Telus fiber drops is an asset.
• Proven experience using hand tools and ladders
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Assets:

• Experience with Telus systems, tools, and installation standards.
• First Aid, WHMIS, and other safety-related certifications.

Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
