Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role based in Victoria, BC. The technician's responsibilities will include conducting troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC systems, performing maintenance work, and diagnosing and fixing plumbing and electrical issues. You will ensure proper functionality of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, as well as perform preventive maintenance to maximize efficiency and extend system lifespans.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC systems and related issues
• Hands-on experience in plumbing and preventive maintenance
• Knowledge of EPA regulations and standards for the role
• Understanding of electricity and electrical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills
• Relevant certifications, such as Red Seal or equivalent, are highly advantageous
• Previous experience with residential or commercial mechanical systems is a plus
