They are seeking two skilled Mechanical Design Engineers to join their Power Systems Division. This team specializes in generator sets (gen sets) for Caterpillar dealerships and custom solutions for end customers. The immediate focus is designing and developing full enclosure packages for large generator systems, primarily for data center applications. This is a fast-paced, high-priority initiative with aggressive timelines. This role will work closely with internal engineering teams and external vendors to deliver customized, integrated solutions. Skills: Design, Mechanical, Mechanical design, autocad inventor, structural design, genset packaging, container design, enclosure design, Caterpillar, power system design Top Skills Details: Design, Mechanical, Mechanical design, autocad inventor, structural design, genset packaging, container design, enclosure design Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in power systems, heavy equipment, or Caterpillar products. Knowledge of sound attenuation, airflow/cooling systems, and compliance standards for fuel tanks. Experience with data center power solutions. Experience Level: Intermediate Level Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of Bartonville, IL. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
