Job Overview:
Responsible for supporting the Automation department in programming, process improvement, and troubleshooting automated systems across various applications to enhance operational efficiency and minimize manual effort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in automation & controls troubleshooting.
- Assist in backup and calibration processes, documentation and data organization
- Follow company's health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes
- Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses to your Automation Lead/ Company supervisor
- Use or wear safety equipment and personal protective equipment required by the company
- Report to supervisor any hazardous or unsafe conditions, absence or defects in equipment and any contravention of health and safety legislation
Recipe for Success:
- Currently enrolled in associate degree in Industrial Automation or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiar with PLC/VFDs/HMI programming, industrial networks configuration, and troubleshooting.
