As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods throughout our logistics operations. You will operate various material handling equipment to transport products, ensure accuracy in order fulfillment, and assist with inventory management. Safety is paramount in this role; you will be expected to adhere to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a secure working environment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of consistent heavy lifting. Experience with manual pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move and stack materials efficiently and safely.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Pick and pack orders as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
- Requires significant physical exertion, including frequent lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork in our logistics environment.
