We are hiring a Forklift Operator for our busy distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida! This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory, as well as loading and unloading trucks. A strong focus on Safety is required, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to all operational guidelines. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and bending. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Stack and retrieve goods efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts.
- Ensure all materials are handled and stored correctly.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times.
Requirements:
- Certified Forklift Operator with at least 1 year of experience.
- Demonstrated ability for consistent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on Safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
