Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications using scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items for accuracy against order details.
- Pack items securely into appropriate boxes, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch to customers.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse Safety standards.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues with orders to a supervisor promptly.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of goods when necessary.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including the use of necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of moderate Lifting (up to 30-40 pounds) on a regular basis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
