We are seeking a proactive and organized Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team in Dallas, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, verifying stock levels, investigating inventory discrepancies, and ensuring that all inventory movements are accurately recorded in our system. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, as accurate inventory data is essential for efficient order fulfillment and overall business success. We are committed to a safe working environment, and all team members are expected to follow stringent safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Support the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics through accurate data.
- Perform tasks that may involve lifting up to 35 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using WMS software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of inventory control principles and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
