We are seeking a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our vibrant logistics team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our shipping operations, ensuring that all outbound orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, inspecting outgoing merchandise, and maintaining accurate shipping records. This position requires strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure that every shipment meets our high standards. You will be a key player in maintaining the smooth flow of goods from our warehouse to our customers. We are committed to a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to strictly adhere to safety protocols and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Process and prepare all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Generate shipping labels and packing slips using our WMS.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Inspect outgoing products for damage or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update tracking information.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Understand and contribute to the efficiency of our logistics network.
- Be prepared for tasks involving lifting up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and WMS.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations and documentation.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to use PPE.
