Join our bustling Distribution Center Associate team in Houston, Texas! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to support the efficient operation of our large-scale distribution facility. This role involves a wide range of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and preparing goods for shipment. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, ensuring that products move smoothly and accurately through our center. A strong commitment to workplace safety and efficient logistics is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying contents and quantities.
- Stock shelves and storage areas accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (training provided/certification required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout the distribution center.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to PPE requirements.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our overall logistics network.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Dedication to following all health and safety protocols.
