This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues with equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow for our logistics operations. You will conduct regular inspections, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot a variety of warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, sorters, and forklifts. Your technical skills will be crucial in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and you will be expected to rigorously follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role demands physical capability, including the ability to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting, often exceeding 50 pounds, and working in various environmental conditions. You will collaborate with the operations team to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally and meets regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include: Executing preventative maintenance schedules for all warehouse machinery. Diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions promptly and effectively. Installing and testing new equipment as needed. Maintaining accurate logs of all maintenance activities and repairs. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and operational procedures. Promoting a culture of safety awareness among all staff, emphasizing the importance of proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
