Join our growing team as a Distribution Center Associate in Chicago, Illinois! In this role, you will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient and accurate processing of goods. You will be involved in various tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment. This position requires a strong focus on detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain our high standards of service in the Logistics industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock inventory accurately onto designated shelves or locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, following all Safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and other related tasks.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant Lifting and physical movement.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Good communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes. Must be able to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting. Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions. This role is a key component of our Logistics network.
