Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety and productivity.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Monitor adherence to safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage shipping schedules and carrier relationships.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks, including occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
