- Process all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify order details against shipping manifests and product information.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Generate and apply shipping labels and relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for scheduling pickups and deliveries.
- Conduct final quality checks on all outgoing packages.
- Maintain organized and accurate shipping logs and records.
- Ensure the shipping area is clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards.
- Follow all established safety procedures and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory tasks as required.
- Comply with all lifting requirements and safe handling procedures.
- Previous experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the critical importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform various physical tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques is essential.
