We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods within our facility, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment. - Receive, unload, and sort incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Load and prepare shipments for transportation.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Adhere to all lifting requirements and safe handling practices.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
