Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or use scanners to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect products for defects or damage prior to packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials, ensuring protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain an organized and clean packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques when handling products of various weights and sizes.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support the overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in order picking or packing is desirable. Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods. Capable of manual dexterity and performing moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs). Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
