We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our state-of-the-art facility in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods through our distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Stock received inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment using RF scanners and order pick lists.
- Pack orders appropriately to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Follow all Lifting and material handling procedures to prevent injuries.
- Consistently wear and use required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or similar logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and adherence to them.
- Commitment to using appropriate PPE.
