We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler to support our expanding logistics operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials, transporting them to and from designated areas, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and possesses a strong work ethic. Prior experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or in a similar physical role is advantageous. You will work collaboratively with a team to maintain productivity and meet operational goals. Responsibilities: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize materials. Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely. Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials within the warehouse. Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE. Participate in team efforts to achieve operational objectives and maintain workflow. This role requires significant physical exertion and involves frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Knowledge of proper lifting techniques is essential.
