We are searching for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our state-of-the-art facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. Your primary focus will be on conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize stock errors. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a methodical approach, and a strong understanding of warehouse logistics . Upholding strict safety protocols and ensuring proper use of PPE are non-negotiable aspects of this role. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage and errors.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Track and manage the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all inventory transactions.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and report on low stock or overstock situations.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with PPE requirements in all relevant areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve some physical exertion, including occasional Lifting .
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Effective communication skills.
