Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile with inventory records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system data.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or overstock situations.
- Assist in the receiving and put-away process, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with Safety protocols and procedures is a must.
