We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all goods are handled, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving incoming shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. You will work closely with a team to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth within the logistics industry. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners and order sheets.
- Safely and efficiently pack items for shipment, ensuring proper protection and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed, following all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and conduct.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to excellent customer service. Understanding of Logistics and warehouse operations is beneficial. A strong focus on Safety and proper use of PPE is mandatory. Must be authorized to work in the US and able to pass a background check. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
