As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount, and all associates are expected to follow established guidelines, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including Walking, Standing, and Lifting of various items. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming shipments.
- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with stocktaking.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, as needed.
- Uphold all Safety standards and utilize required PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the distribution center's logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring extensive Walking and Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of Safety best practices in a warehouse setting.
