We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong work ethic are highly valued. We are dedicated to fostering a secure work environment, and adherence to all Safety regulations, including the consistent use of PPE , is mandatory. This position requires physical capability, including the ability to handle regular Lifting of items up to 45 lbs. This is an excellent stepping stone for a career in the Logistics industry. Your main duties will involve:
- Unloading and receiving shipments, checking for accuracy and damage.
- Storing inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization.
- Picking items from shelves based on order requirements using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Packing items carefully and securely for shipment.
- Preparing orders for dispatch and coordinating with shipping carriers.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace and warehouse environment.
- Participating in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Following all company policies and procedures, with a focus on safety compliance.
- Working effectively with team members to meet operational goals.
