We are hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for our Tampa, Florida facility. In this crucial role, you will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods throughout our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transferring inventory between storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. Safety is our utmost priority; you must possess a thorough understanding of forklift operation safety standards, conduct regular equipment inspections, and consistently utilize required PPE. This position demands physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting and manual handling. We seek a reliable, motivated individual with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a significant advantage. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport goods to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Support overall logistics operations and team goals.
