We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be comfortable with heights and precision maneuvering. Safety is paramount in this role, and adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is mandatory. You will be expected to perform pre-operation checks on the equipment to ensure it is in good working order and report any issues immediately. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. This position involves significant Lifting of products up to 50 lbs. You will collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and effective inventory management. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to pick, put away, and move inventory.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of reach truck and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Ensure accurate picking and staging of orders.
- Manage Loading and unloading of trucks when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting tasks.
- Familiarity with Logistics and warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
