We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Washington, D.C. This position is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will perform a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to operational excellence. A keen eye for detail and a strong adherence to Safety protocols are essential. Your role will support our extensive Logistics network and contribute to our company's success. Proper use of PPE is expected at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive and put away incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for transit, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Participate in inventory management activities.
- Follow all company policies and Safety procedures.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to work flexible hours if needed. Must be able to handle tasks that involve substantial Lifting. A strong commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE is required. This role is critical for our Logistics operations.
