We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for our Cincinnati facility! This role is critical to ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, forming a key part of our logistics process. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping labels, documenting outgoing orders, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring packages are ready for dispatch. Accuracy and organization are paramount in this position to maintain the integrity of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation.
- Verify order accuracy before dispatch.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure the shipping area is clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or administrative support is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers, including shipping software and data entry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics documentation.
