Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Inspect all items for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
- Enter receiving data accurately into the company's inventory management system.
- Tag and stage received goods for distribution or storage.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding shipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Follow all established safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks and cycle counts as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, receiving, or logistics role is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and safety standards.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to using required PPE and following safety guidelines.
