Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and verify items for outgoing shipments based on order details.
- Package products securely and efficiently for transit.
- Generate shipping labels and complete all necessary shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any shipping issues or discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related warehouse role is a plus.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
