We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our distribution center's success, ensuring that our customers receive the right products quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse using pick lists or RF scanners, locating items, and ensuring they are correctly handled. The ability to work efficiently and accurately in a demanding environment is crucial. Safety is our top priority; all associates must adhere to strict safety protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves considerable physical activity, including regular Lifting and moving of packages. A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team are essential qualities. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Use RF scanners and pick lists to locate and retrieve products.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage orders in designated areas for outbound shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
