Our Omaha, Nebraska fulfillment center is seeking dedicated Fulfillment Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in processing and fulfilling customer orders with speed and accuracy. You'll engage in various tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. This position requires a proactive approach to work and a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency within our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Process incoming inventory, including receiving, inspecting, and stocking.
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipping documentation and affix labels to packages.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Follow all company guidelines regarding workplace safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly fulfillment targets.
- Report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform physical tasks.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of wearing designated PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for using inventory and shipping systems.
- Familiarity with logistics principles is a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety policies, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve collective goals.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
