We are hiring an Order Picker for our Seattle, Washington facility. This role is vital for the efficient processing of customer orders and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics department. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy in quantity and product type.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing and shipping.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in picking operations.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from potential hazards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed to support overall logistics.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Handle all items with care to prevent damage during the picking and staging process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is a plus.
