We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our distribution center, contributing to all aspects of warehouse activities. This role requires physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be involved in handling goods, organizing stock, and ensuring the overall tidiness and functionality of our warehouse space, which is a critical part of our logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing freight.
- Moving materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Organizing and stocking inventory in designated areas.
- Picking and packing orders as required.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assisting with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reporting any damages or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Performing general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Awareness of safety regulations within a logistics setting.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Mandatory use of PPE as required by company policy.
