We are actively recruiting for an Order Picker position in Seattle, Washington. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are crucial to our Logistics success, ensuring that orders are prepared correctly for dispatch and customer satisfaction is maintained. This job involves consistent physical activity, including extensive standing, walking, and frequent Lifting of items that may weigh up to 50 lbs. Adherence to all workplace Safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE are essential. We are looking for individuals who are highly detail-oriented, energetic, and capable of working productively in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with a team to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipping.
- Transport orders to the appropriate staging or shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Meet performance standards for picking speed and accuracy.
- Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a strong asset.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents accurately.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing for long durations.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Commitment to following all Safety guidelines and wearing required PPE .
- Ability to work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles and warehouse functions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
