Are you a skilled and certified Forklift Operator? We have an immediate opening for a proficient Forklift Operator to join our bustling logistics hub in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. Your expertise ensures the smooth flow of goods, supports inventory management, and maintains operational efficiency. Safety is non-negotiable; adherence to all safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required at all times. This position demands precision and care, and you will be handling materials of various sizes and weights, often involving significant Lifting. While operating the forklift, you will also be responsible for ensuring loads are stable and secure. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory securely and accurately.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Follow all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support general warehouse operations and logistics as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and moving materials when needed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to wear and use required PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
