This position is key to the smooth operation of our logistics network, responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure efficient product flow from receipt to shipment. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick products for customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
- Responsible for consistent Lifting and moving of various products.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and understanding of PPE importance. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Must be able to handle Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs. Basic knowledge of logistics processes is beneficial.
