Our very well-established family dental practice in the heart of Victoria, BC is seeking a Full-Time Associate General Dentist to join our dedicated team of professionals. We pride ourselves on a warm and supportive culture where staff and patients are treated like family. *Schedule:*
* *Full-Time Monday - Thursday, no evenings and no weekends*
*Competitive Compensation*: We offer a very competitive compensation structure with a high earning potential. *Generous Relocation Bonus*, details will be tailored to the right candidate.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Comprehensive Patient Care*: Provide a wide range of general dental treatments – from routine exams and fillings to root canal therapy, extractions and crown/bridge restorations.
* *Quality Focus*: Ensure each patient receives gentle, high-quality care with a patient-first approach, making even anxious patients and children feel comfortable and cared for.
* *Optional Services*: If experienced or interested, offer additional services such as dental implants or pediatric dentistry. (These are not required, but our practice can support you in expanding your clinical scope.)
* *Team Collaboration*: Work closely with our dental team – including hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff – to deliver seamless, coordinated care. Participate in team meetings and case discussions to continually improve patient outcomes.
* *Patient Education*: Educate patients and families on oral health, preventative care, and treatment options. Build lasting relationships through friendly, personalized communication and a genuine care for our community’s well-being.
*Qualifications:*
* *Dental License*: DMD/DDS degree from an accredited dental program and current (or eligible) license to practice dentistry in British Columbia (BCCOHP registration).
* *Clinical Experience*: Proficiency in general dentistry procedures (fillings, endodontics, extractions, crowns and bridges) is required and 2+ years of experience as a practicing dentist in Canada..
* *Additional Skills*: Experience or training in implants and children’s dentistry is a plus (not mandatory). A willingness to learn and perform new procedures is highly valued.
* *Patient-Centered Approach*: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, compassionate chairside manner. You should be passionate about creating a positive patient experience and building trust with patients of all ages.
