Long Term Job Description: We are looking for a
Lead Snowflake Data Engineer
with strong hands?on experience in
data architecture, pipeline design, and performance optimization
within the Snowflake environment. The ideal candidate will be a
senior?level engineer
who has
focused on Snowflake development over the past few years
, possesses
leadership experience
, and is still eager to stay
hands?on
with engineering work. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of data engineers while remaining hands?on in development. Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes in Snowflake. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver high?quality data solutions. Manage performance tuning, data governance, and quality control in Snowflake. Implement best practices for data integration, transformation, and scalability.
Required Skills: Expert?level experience with
Snowflake
(data modeling, query optimization, warehouse management). Strong knowledge of
SQL
,
ETL tools
, and
Python
or
Scala
for data transformation. Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Prior
leadership or team lead
experience in data engineering. Excellent problem?solving and communication skills.
