*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate *AP Biology Tutor* to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in biology, a commitment to helping students succeed, and familiarity with the AP Biology curriculum and exam format.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide 1:1 or small group instruction to high school students in AP Biology
* Develop customized lesson plans aligned with College Board standards
* Track student progress and communicate updates with parents and staff
* Prepare students for AP exams, labs, and key concepts
* Incorporate engaging teaching methods to make complex topics accessible
*Qualifications:*
* *Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field* (required)
* Prior teaching or tutoring experience (preferred)
* Familiarity with the College Board AP Biology curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about student learning
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 per week
